Easter Blog Hop

Welcome to the "Easter" Blog Hop!

We're so happy you could join us today!

You should have arrived from Sandy's blog.  If you happened by my blog or are joining me from your dashboard, head over to Miranda's blog to start at the beginning.  We don't want you to miss any of the fun!
In addition to seeing a lot of awesome Easter creations, there is some blog candy available too.  Miranda will be giving away a Michael’s gift card.  To be eligible for the blog candy, you are required to visit each stop in the hop and leave a comment!  The winner will be announced Wednesday, March 27th on Miranda's blog!

My project is very picture heavy...I made a very unique mini-album for the pictures from one Easter. I don't do mini-albums often but I have made several over the years...I think this one is my most favorite I have ever done. It was a whole bunch of graduated sized squares so I put them together to create this mini-album. Hope you enjoy all the pics.

Sorry the pictures are not the best quality...but if you click on them and make them larger I think they will be okay! Thanks for taking the time to hop!!

Next on the hop is Angela's blog!!!
Should you get lost along the way, here is the entire line up:

Holli - http://SunflowerHolli.blogspot.com

And I have a little blog candy of my own...should I happen to reach 150 followers during this blog hop I will be giving a $10 GC to use at my Face Book Scrapbook supply shop...Scrapping for Less; where you can purchase hot, trendy, current, scrapbook supplies and tools and whatever else you may think up at less than retail prices.

Here is the link: Scrapping for Less

Happy Easter!!!!  We hope you enjoyed the hop today!

Gorgeously Green Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Gorgeously Green Blog Hop!  All the projects have at least 2 shades of green.

If you leave a comment on everyone's post, you could win this blog candy consisting of paper from DCWV and Basic Grey, Rub-ons, ribbon, borders, printable alphas, adhesive, and more!

You don't have to become a follower of Afternoon Scrapper, but it sure would be nice if you did.

My project is:   A Layout of helping my grandson complete a cooking project for extra credit in his Science class. I am working on a backlog of pictures while also scrapping current ones so this layout helps scrap those memories that are in that backlog! This was back when he was in 6th grade! It's Dr. Seuss Day!

Welcome to the Wonderful World of Dr. Seuss! We are so happy you dropped by to celebrate his birthday with us. He was a wonderful highly revered children’s author who many of us learned to read by. The quote below is taken from a Wikipedia entry about his life. I myself (Teresa)  am so thrilled to have had the privilege to teach about him during my years as a school teacher.

“In May 1954, Life magazine published a report on illiteracy among school children, which concluded that children were not learning to read because their books were boring. Accordingly, William Ellsworth Spaulding, the director of the education division at Houghton Mifflin who later became its Chairman, compiled a list of 348 words he felt were important for first-graders to recognize and asked Geisel to cut the list to 250 words and write a book using only those words.[33] Spaulding challenged Geisel to "bring back a book children can't put down." [34] Nine months later, Geisel, using 236 of the words given to him, completed The Cat in the Hat. It retained the drawing style, verse rhythms, and all the imaginative power of Geisel's earlier works, but because of its simplified vocabulary, it could be read by beginning readers. The Cat in the Hat and subsequent books written for young children achieved significant international success and they remain very popular today. In 2009 Green Eggs and Ham sold 540,366 copies, The Cat in the Hat sold 452,258 copies, and One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish (1960) sold 409,068 copies—outselling the majority of newly published children's books.[35]

For our hop we have several wonderful projects for you to enjoy.  If you have come from Three Scrappy Gals you are in the right place. Be sure to start at the beginning you don’t want to miss any Seusstical creations.

I spent last year teaching Kindergarten and we had a big huge celebration on Dr. Seuss day. This is the first  layout toward documenting my year in K. I was very excited that I got to teach Kindergarten while my granddaughter also started school. She was so very excited that she got to be with her grandma at school and we were in the same grade level.

We have some wonderful blog candy for you to win. Check the Three Scrappy Gals blog for the awesome prize! Winner will be drawn and announced on Tuesday March 5, 2013.

To be eligible for the drawing you must:
  1. Become a follower of each blog (if you aren’t already)
  2. Comment on each blog post
  3. Leave your contact information

Then hop on over to Daphne’s blog to see what fantastic project she has today.
