I sure am enjoying the holiday season with my hubby it is a really good thing I started making all these Christmas cards back in July! So, onto today's card...this one was super fun to color!

I have been using up things from my stash to make this years Christmas cards and I am terrible at writing down the products I used...I will promise to try and get better at that!
All of my supplies of course were purchased through Scrapping for Less!

2016 Christmas Card Series: Card #1

Well, nothing like being a bit late! It has been a super busy week! My friend Kim and I came up with a plan way back earlier this year to do a Christmas Card series...we had a blast shopping (from Scrapping for Less of course), planning, and even creating cards together a little bit. You see we live about an hour and a half away from each other and even though we could spend at least 4 days a week making cards together that is always not we try to do the next best thing and Facetime so we can craft together. We got lots and lots accomplished prior to my hubby retiring on October 31. Not so much since then...hopefully we will get back into our groove soon. For now, enjoy the cards we created...some we used the same stamp, some we used inspiration from each other and some we just came up with ourselves! Both of us will be posting on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Check out Kim's post on Friday!

Here is what I came up with for today or better yet should have been on Friday!

Supplies Used:
Quilt Die (borrowed from a friend)
Doodlebug Home for the Holidays paper collection...oldie from my stash
Kraft cardstock
Hero Arts Super Fine White Embossing Powder

Join me again tomorrow for another Christmas card!

Living a Dream!

Have you ever had a dream? I don't mean a dream while you are asleep. I mean a dream, a vision, a goal, a passion? Well, I have and guess what? I am living that dream. With a wonderful man that just retired 2 weeks ago, we are living the dream. A dream we have had for all of our married life. A dream to be able to relax, take it easy, be together, and enjoy family! And that is just what we have done lately! Here are a few photos of enjoying life lately....

Being able to go have lunch as a family with these three kiddos at the Thanksgiving Family Feast....priceless!

Celebrating my wonderful husband's retirement with the family....extremely priceless!

and the most special one of all...the silly pic!

I cannot wait to get this pictures scrapped and in the albums!
