Use Your Stuff Challenge Blog: Guest Designer

I am thrilled once again to be a guest designer at Use Your Stuff Challenge Blog. I  absolutely love sequins! In fact I love them so much they are a component in each and every collection in our Flavor of the Month card kit over at Scrapping for Less. I partnered with Michelle, from Kennedy Grace Creations to supply all the sequins for our card kits. So, this week I am giving away a package of sequins from KG.

Today, I have created a cute card using a stamp from a beloved company!  I absolutely adore La La Land Stamps! I am obsessed right now with mermaids and sequins! Sparkly and shiny is all the rage right now! Shaker cards are a huge trend in card making.

Supplies:

La La Land Mermaid Marci
Papers from my stash
Sentiment stamp: Paper Smooches
Sequins

Teresa

Hello my lovely crafty friends! I again am so excited to bring you another great stamp company to the website. We have the fabulous company of Pink and Main! I soooo love Michelle...isn't she just adorable? If you didn't check out our "Getting to Know the Brand" blog post last Monday please do so, she is one fantastic lady. So hop along with us and get inspired as the team shares their projects.

I love hummingbirds and absolutely love watching them out my dining room window so when I saw this stamp set I just had to have it!!!  And, when I purchased it way back in January there weren't matching dies for it...but now there are and I am picking them up today! So if this stamp set is on your radar hold on a bit and the dies will be up on the website to match the stamp!

So for today I created this super cute card! And I used my leftover March card kit papers for my background and my cardbase was leftover from that kit as well! I am loving that I can pull my leftovers from my kits to create other items. Happy hopping!

Scrapping for Less Proudly Introduces "My Favorite Things"

Have you ever wanted something so very bad that you could taste it? Well, that is how I was with wanting to carry My Favorite Things products on the Scrapping for Less website. I am so extremely excited to announce that we are focusing on "MFT" products for the month of April! This is a fabulous company and one that is very near and dear to my heart! (In more ways than one! I live in FL and have been to their store). So, join me along with the DT in providing some inspiration for this wonderful company with a wide variety of projects!

One of the various stamp sets of My Favorite Things I absolutely adore is the Pure Innocence stamps...I have lots and lots of these in my personal stash.  However, when planning for this blog hop and purchasing stamps to go on the website, it coincided with the release of this PI set. I absolutely knew that I had to use this set and create cards to send to all my wonderful Design Team members. Now in a perfect world they would have received these before actually seeing them....but well...I don't live in that perfect world so they are going in the mail this weekend. So, hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them...

One card for each special member of my DT!

Sunny Studio Blog Hop

Welcome to the Sunny Studio Blog Hop with Scrapping for Less. We are so thrilled to be adding another stamp company to the lineup here on the website. Sunny Studio is a fabulous company and has many types of designs to offer. Great stamps, great dies + great prices keep a crafter happy! Join in the blog hop and see what wonderful projects the Design Team has to offer. Hop through and leave a comment on each blog, then come back to the Scrapping for Less blog and enter via the rafflecopter to win the pictured prize.

I used the Daffodil Dreams stamp set. I love how my card came out but I have to be totally honest...this is not what I had pictured in my head. You see, I tried to start out with a yellow palette because after all, daffodils are yellow right? Well, this variety is orange because try, as I may the yellow inks in my possession, did not work out correctly. So, orange inks combined with one yellow ink seemed to be the perfect combo.

Yellow Cardstock from my stash
Yellow Satin and Organza Ribbon from my stash
Inks: MFT Hybrid Ink, Lawn Fawn Ink, Hero Arts Ink
Pattern Paper: Echo Park
